The Vale in Tempe is another prize community designed by the famous southwest architect, Will Bruder. Developed in 2005, by Beck Development, this 47-unit community features studio lofts, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans ranging from around 600 square feet up to 2,200 square feet. Units adjacent to University Drive are live/work spaces which represent “a unified public/private vision for the urbanization of Tempe”.
The Vale, since it is ideally located in downtown Tempe, is to act as a gateway. According to the architect, it is “conceived as a bridge linking disparate land uses flanking each end”. From this location residents have exclusive access to all the perks downtown Tempe has to offer, close freeway access and within miles of Arizona Mills Mall.
