Optima Camelview Village is a 700-unit mixed-used community on 13-acres just north of Scottsdale Fashion Square. This community consists of 11 interconnected, terraced, bridge-linked buildings built atop a 1,250-car underground garage. Developed by Optima Inc. of Chicago and designed by Architect and Founder, David C. Hovey, Camelview Village is unlike any other community.
Due to it’s forward thinking eco-conscious design, Optima Camelview has been recognized for a numerous amount of awards. In 2007 the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and AZRE magazine honored the community as one of the Top 18 Architectural Achievements in Arizona. The following year, 2008, it was awarded the Crescordia Award, which is the highest award in its category, by Valley Forward Association for environmental excellence for multi-family residential buildings and structures. There have been many more awards given through the following years.
